What is Qvidian for Web?

Get Qvidian for Web in Minutes (no added cost)
Included for all licensed Qvidian users, Qvidian for Web is designed to complement (not replace) existing Qvidian functionality. This integration is optional, there’s no added cost, and it takes just minutes to get started.

Self-Service Installation
     1) Get started by reading the Help Guide >
     2) Install the correct version of this extension from the different browsers:

    1. Chrome: US Version [Download] > | EU Version [Download] > 
    2. Microsoft Edge: US Version [Download] > | EU Version [Download] >
    3. Firefox: US Version [Download] > | EU Version [Download] >

     3) After installation, click the Extensions icon and select the Qvidian for Web.
     4) Log in to Qvidian for Web using your standard Qvidian username and password.

Troubleshooting
Please ensure your admin enabled the correct application permissions and that you’re using the correct version of the extension. The new permission is Allow user to log into Qvidian for Web (by default, this is already enabled for users who are allowed to use Qvidian for Office, as this provides similar functionality using the same pages).

Using SSO (Single Sign-On)?
After logging in, select Settings from the dropdown menu and specify your Subscriber GUID. Your Subscriber ID, which is entered into your Subscriber GUID field, can be found in the 'About' area within the header of the Qvidian interface. More information on this can be found at the end of the Help Guide in the Updating the Qvidian for Web Settings section. The permission is only available to assign if the Global Setting "QvidianForMicrosoftOfficeFeatures" is set to "On". Not all customers will have this on though and will need to change this in order to see the new permission for "Qvidian for Web".
